Warm Christmas Wishes Quilt Cards

I had some square snippets of red, white, and green cardstock so I decided to make some quilt cards since I had this perfect sentiment stamp to match. I used a MFT stitched quilt square to cut all the quilt pieces in each of the 3 colors, and in the first one, I laid the cut pieces into the cut frame but didn't glue the frame down. After all the pieces were glued in place, I removed the frame and added a die-cut gold star made with gold mirror card and decided this one looked fine with nothing else added.

Of course when I cut all of the quilts, that left me with 2 frames which I had to use to make 2 more cards. For this version, I added the white and red negatives along with the negative pieces from the gold star in the first card, then added a gold Candi Dot to the center of the star.

This version has the red quilt frame with green and white pieces along with just a gold Candi Dot in the center. They're all similar but each card is slightly different.

I'm sharing the first card with

the Snippets Playground #469- must use snippets

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you're all having a busy but great day!

  10. Oh my, there is Italy here today ! :D LOL. Green, white and red are just the colours of our flag! :) Amazing quilted cards (I have this die too, I bought it years ago after I saw our lovely cards made with it!) and such great idea remove the frame in the first one, love so much the clean effect and the outline gold star is a perfect focal point. Love also the two cards you made with the leftovers and the cute candi centres. Well done, no wasting!! :D

  22. You quilt-inspired cards are just beautiful, Carol! I love the added star in gold, so pretty! This is a great die because I can see that you cut it from three colours and ended up with three cards - it's brilliant! Sending lots of hugs, prayers, and heartfelt well wishes your way, my friend.
