More Treats

Here are the last of my treats. I gave away quite a few without taking pictures, but this is a small sampling. The tiny boxes hold chocolate covered jelly sticks, while the other 2 containers hold a little pack of Biscoff cookies.

I made 3 kinds of pretzel treats this year. I used a square pretzel with a Rolo candy melted on top and then pressed either a pecan on top or a red or green M&M, or a Hershey Candy Cane flavored kiss on top. I made several boxes like those above to hold a couple of those treats.

These treats were made with a retired Pillow Box die from SU!. It's a great way to use those snippets and bits of ribbon. These hold more of those chocolate covered jelly sticks.

Last but not least is my favorite treat container to make. These are matchboxes and they hold a Ghirardelli candy and make beautiful handout treats. I put a couple of the Lawn Fawn tiny animals on a couple for the kids. Ghirardelli makes a great little peppermint bark candy shape that's perfect for the wee ones.

I'll enter the Little Red Wagon Challenge #736 - under pressure
(enter your last minute creations of cards, tags, gifts, etc)

That's the last of my treats for this year. I hope you enjoyed them and I hope I've inspired you to create some of your own. Those hard-working delivery drivers are always happy to receive one of these, and my reward is the smile I get in return.

Thanks for stopping by and have yourself a great day!

  3. I moving into your street Carol or going to make a delivery as there are always such lovely treats being handed out, so generous and I am certain well received.

Here residents always used to mark Christmas to service workers but sadly over time that seems to have gone out of the window. We live very remotely so hubby has alway given something to the dustmen and postie (he's a friend of our eldest Daughter so we know he like beer. The 'dusties' come as a trio recently so it was three bottles of red, to say they were surprised (but appreciative) was an understatement.

  9. Hi most famous lady of your town! :D How long is the queue outside your door to have a little treat box? LOL :D I'm sure that your kind gesture makes the day of a lot of persons. Giving is better than receiving, isn't it? :) Love all your boxes and the fact that everyone is different. You certainly used up a lot of snippets! The pillow boxes are so inspiring on how you used the pieces of ribbon glued under the toppers to close them, I have to remember this. Love the containers shape and he tiny animals on the kids' treat boxes are so cute!
Hugs and love across the miles dear Carol!
