Here's a card I made for the July 4th holiday coming up. I used a very old Sweet 'n Sassy Cocoa mouse digital image with a firecracker along with an older piece of double sided dsp that I got at Tuesday Morning years ago. I used some MFT stitched square dies to cut the image and red mat and added a sparkly blue star done with a (r) SU! mini punch. The sentiment was computer generated and die-cut with a MFT fishtail banner die. The background design was made using the Freshly Made Sketch challenge #591 but I needed to change the sentiment placement with the image I used. Seeing the sketch design and my card side-by-side I realize I reversed the design too...sigh. Some days I'm a hopeless case 😋

Such a sweet image and I'm sure it's fine to rotate or otherwise when using sketches as long as the finished card shows some resemblance 😉

And yes, I can see the sketch in your card so you are not a hopeless case! You still stuck to the sketch but made it your own and I love that. Cocoa is ready to have some firework fun! I just love the mix of those red, white and blue papers along with the fun sparkle you've added everywhere! Really love the way you've colored up this cute image! Happy weekend my friend!
