Christmas Star

I recently won a gift certificate by playing along with a challenge at Simon Says Stamp and I treated myself to this pretty star die as part of my prize. I die-cut it with some vanilla and mirror gold cardstock and added a golden pearl to the center. All the tiny "stars" were from assorted stamp sets and heat-embossed with gold on the navy card base which was die-cut with a Lil Inker stitched rectangle. The Noel sentiment from PTI was also heat-embossed in gold.
That's one more Christmas card added to the stash for this year and I'll enter it into the following challenges:

the NBUS Challenge #51 - never before used schtuff (the star)

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day!

Carol

  1. Gorgeous card, Carol! That star die is beautiful and congrats on your win! I'm not sure why but I love a Christmas card that is embossed and has pops of shine or sparkle on it. Your card is all that and more! Plus the stitching around the card adds more interest as well. Love, love, love! TFS and have a great day! :)
