A Happy Little Christmas

I recently found this cute little stamped image and colored it with Copics to make a Christmas card. I used 2 strips of red & green cardstock along with 2 strips of red & green designer paper for the background, along with a white background made with a Sizzix plaid embossing folder. I added a little stamped sentiment image by SU! that I found in my snippets box, and matted it with gold mirror card, then added a tiny red pearl to the center. That's one more Christmas card for the stash.

I will share this card with the following challenges:

The April Rudolph Day Challenge - anything Christmas related

The Allsorts Challenge Blog week #725 - A/G *optional love of animals

Peace on Earth Christmas Challenge #38- A/G with inspirational mood board

Can You Handle the Pressure Challenge - A/G embossing *optional twist "baby"

That's it for me today and I'm going to scoot to the store before it starts raining. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Carol

  10. So stinkin cute, Carol! Love the traditional colors and your embossed panel! That image is just the sweetest and what better way to say Merry Christmas! Love, love, love! Hope you got to the store & back before the rain yesterday! We had thunderstorms off & on all day. I think we are in for lots of rainy days ahead in the next week. Only good thing is that it helps keep the pollen at bay!

  29. Super cute Christmas card Carol! I love this sweet image. The background I thought was done with a stencil and embossing paste so I was surprised to read that it was just an embossing folder. Love it! I NEED it! LOL Love the plaid papers, that just screams Christmas to me. And then there is our tiny circular sentiment, I really love that-it works so perfectly! Hugs, Brenda
