I wanted to play in the Color Hues challenge #14 which is to use only black & white, but I'm just not too fond of this now that I made it. LOL I used a piece of black & white dsp by DCWV and added a piece of black lace along with 2 stitched oval dies and a cat, done with a SU! punch. The tiny bow is from Lawn Fawn's Tiny Box set of dies. I went a little too wild with the black Nuvo drops, adding them to the dsp, image panel and tiny bow, and after I added them, I realized it would have been better if I'd just used them on the ovals. Oh well, live and learn - I'm just not a very good CAS card maker ;)
I left the sentiment off because I'm not sure what occasion I'll use this for. I have 2 friends who are cat lovers and they'll both probably enjoy this as it is.
I'll also enter this into the 2 Crafty Critter Crazies challenge for March - just use a critter

ReplyDeleteI think its beautiful, black and white looks so elegant and choosing the cat die was a great choice for the black aspect. I love black cats so I'm totally drawn to this, I've got my own nightmare called Loki... Norse God of Chaos!
