An Early Father's Day Card

I waited too long to work on mother's day cards, so I decided there's no better time than now to start on father's day cards. This is going to a cherished neighbor who comes to visit often and he brings along his sweet little dachshund Maddy when he comes. The background was sponged with Distress Tumbled Glass ink through a Tim Holtz stone stencil. I took some snippets of GinaK blue raspberry card stock and die-cut 3 banners with a SU! Hearts a Flutter die set, then embossed them with a SB M-Bossabilities Kickin' Rubber embossing folder to show portions of the footprints. I  darkened the footprints with a Copic C3 marker to make them more visible. The dachshund was die cut with an I.O. set of dog dies and I added snippets of red to make the harness along with some twine for her leash. The sentiment is from SU!'s teeny tiny wishes embossed with white on black. I know my neighbor is going to get a kick out of this card because he walks his dog all the time in the neighborhood.
I designed my card using this sketch:

Therefore; this is going over to the Freshly Made Sketch challenge #387

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day!
