Red Valentine


Happy Superbowl Sunday everyone! I know the excitement has been building for quite a few weeks and tonight the final game will finally be played. Good luck to your favorite team!

Today's card is a 5x7 which has a matching red envelope. I bought a set of these red cards and envies probably 10 years ago and have barely touched any of them, but this larger card was perfect for the SU! Bloomin Heart die, so I kept it simple. The flowers on the die were covered with wink of stella for a little shimmer and I added some tiny red gemstones randomly for the final touch. The sentiment is from Gina K stately flowers #6 and was stamped with white pigment ink.

    I've never even attempted a 5 by 7 card and this one makes me wish I had. It's GORGEOUS!!!! Love the simplicity of it and letting that beautiful heart take center stage. So pretty!

    Another stunning card Carol! I love that beautiful heart die, always have even though I never bought it. lol The red jewels add that perfect touch to the flowers. I've never bought pre-made cards and envies, but I should when they are on sale. Love the color of these! Hugs, Brenda
