TMS #426

Hello Tuesday Morning Sketch challenge enthusiasts - we're back with another fun sketch for you to play along with. This one is #426 designed by our own Debbie and it's a good one!

I've gone with an autumn-themed card and dug a few snippets out of my bin to make this one. The pumpkins were done with a MFP (now closed) stamp, and after coloring with Copics it was die-cut with a MFT stitched circle die and matted with a SB scalloped circle die in black. The horizontal panel was edged with a MFT notched border die gifted to me on my birthday from a thoughtful blogging friend. The sprigs of "wheat" were done with a die gifted to me by another thoughtful blogging friend (am I blessed or what?) I chose a snippet of gold cardstock to make them look like wheat instead of ferns. Imagination, you know? LOL
The black polka dot dsp is from Lawn Fawn and the sentiment is from SU! Teeny Tiny Wishes. I added a few golden gemstones randomly from Pizzazz Aplenty to finish this Thanksgiving card.

My DT has made some really great cards with this sketch and you should check them out for some great inspiration to play along...

Tuesday Morning Sketches is providing a great prize this week that will be randomly awarded to one lucky player!

Ok, so what are you waiting for? We can all use another great embossing folder, right?
Thanks for stopping by and make it a great Tuesday!

  9. Wonderful hues of autumn on this sweet punkin card. I like the simplicity of the mats on the main motif. Lets the border treatments show off real nicely. Love the golden wheat sprays and I loved your idea to tuck one in behind the sentiment. Cute punkins too! TFS & Hugs

  10. Your card is so pretty. You've done an lovely job of coloring those pumpkins, but the addition of the "leaves" under your image really sets it off. Those little added details you put into your cards each week really making them eye candy.
