White Poinsettia

I'm still working on Christmas cards to get a jump on the season as it rapidly approaches. I made a simple card with red and white cardstock, using a SB poinsettia die, along with a MFT fishtail banner die. The background was embossed with a SU! petals a'plenty ef, and the sentiment is from a SU! stamp set called "Versatile Christmas." The horizontal border was done with a retired SU! scalloped border punch. I curled the petals of the poinsettia around a pencil for some dimension and popped up the bottom petals on foam tape. I added a red gemstone to the center for the finishing touch.

I'm sharing this with the Happy Little Stampers August Christmas challenge, which is anything goes - with an optional twist of "poinsettia."

Thanks for checking in and I hope you have a fantastic day!
