Plaid Birthday

Today I have a bright and cheerful card that makes use of some of that great Lawn Fawn plaid dsp once again. I used a turquoise card stock base, adding a panel of LF plaid dsp, and a panel of cardstock that was colored with Oxide Distress Cracked Pistachio ink, and splattered with water. I die cut that panel with a stitched postage rectangle, matting it with black. The Happy Birthday dies were cut with both turquoise and black and layered slightly off center to give them a bit of definition. The balloons were done with a MS punch, adding snippets of matching twine for the strings. I added some mini star sequins all around the card to add a little sparkly touch.

I'm sharing this with the Simon Says Wednesday challenge to use "Plaid."

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope your day is the best ever!

Carol
