Yes indeed. Not only for my dad and his brothers from WWII, but how vividly I remember as a young girl the notices in the local paper during Vietnam. I would sit with it folded, quietly, in my lap waiting for my brother to come in from work, to break the news to him each time he lost one of his buddies or classmates. They did us all proud! He was drafted but never got to go, due to medical.
