Today I have a birthday card with some neon flowers on a "trellis" clinging to a brick wall. I started by embossing a white panel with a Sizzix bricked ef, then lightly sponged it with spun sugar distress ink to give it an aged look. The trellis was done with an EK lattice chain punch. I colored a piece of white cardstock with a fluorescent green Copic marker, then die cut it with a Cheery Lynn flourish, snipping it apart in sections to adhere to the trellis. I used a Simon Says Stamp Bella Bloom die set to create all the flowers after coloring snippets of white cardstock with several fluorescent Copics. I popped them up on foam tape and layered the smaller ones, adding black gemstones to the centers. I added 2 puffy neon colored butterfly stickers to the panel, along with a white-embossed sentiment on a black stitched die-cut circle. I used a lime green card base to add more bright color.

Very pretty card, Carol! Your trellis filled with colorful flowers just brightens my day! Still nursing this dang cold and trying to rest as much as I can. This weather isn't helping either. I love the brick wall embossed panel, too! A card well done, my friend! :)

Love, love, love your garden scene so much! The embossed background is just fabulous and perfect for the trellis and those amazing neon flowers onthe swirl branch!!!! This is a masterpiece! Very well done!
Love the trellis against the brick! That's an embossing folder that I haven't used in awhile. Your flowers are so pretty and a great take on the challenge. Those little puffy butterflies are the perfect touch. Have a great weekend!!
