Here's my card for the Tuesday Throwdown #TT333 which is to make a "thinking of you" card.
I started with a piece of watercolor paper, sponging 3 different Distress inks (Twisted Citron, Wilted Violet and Mermaid) I spritzed the poinsettia stamp with water and pressed it into the inks giving the white shadow look and let it dry. Next I inked the stamp with Versafine Onyx Black and stamped it close to the shadow image. The sentiment panel is a MFP stamp, heat embossed with white ep on a black panel. The layers were all die cut with Lil Inker stitched rectangles.
Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day whatever you're doing.

Carol, I really like that shadow effect you achieved here. Great choice of colored inks also. With the white o=against the black it really makes a statement and that is what you want to do with a "thinking of you" card. Very, very nice. Enjoy your day.

ReplyDeleteAwesome background, and liking the way you've got the shadow treatment done. (I've yet to be very successful trying this water technique.) A great silhouette to create this nice look too. TFS
