I Think I Can

When I saw this cute little stamp in the "Designer Tee" stamp set in the SU! Sale-a-Bration catalog, I knew it would make some great cards for hospitalized kids, so I made it mine. I stamped the image with orange and blue inks and used a SU! note tag punch to cut the panel. I backed it with a SU! Scalloped top tag punch, then rounded the lower corners. The dark blue panel was embossed with a SU! square lattice ef, and I used a random piece of orange polka dot dsp and matted it with light blue. The orange border was done with a SNSS star scalloped border die. I die cut it twice, both in orange and light blue, inserting the blue stars into the orange panel, then using some of the orange stars to add to the top right side. I added a larger punched star to the top of the image panel done with a SU! mini star punch, and added one negative dark blue star done with the border die.

I based the design of this card by using the Tuesday Morning Sketch #394 shown below. There is also a 2nd option to do the sketch with circles.

I'm also sharing it with the Dies R Us challenge #69 which is "borders and/or edges."

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day everyone!
