I love making cards with these Tim Holtz Crazy Dogs, so here's another one. I found an old manilla tag and used a TH burlap stencil to sponge some tea dye distress ink for the background, then I put the Copic colored fussy cut dog on the tag. The "best" die-cut circle is from SSS and was done in turquoise and white, with a cocoa stitched circle mat. I used a snippet of striped dsp from my stash and placed it on a cocoa-colored card base after cutting both panels with stitched rectangles. I added a die-cut diagonal stitched panel of turquoise and some Poppystamps holly berry stitched dies as accents in black and turquoise. I heat-embossed the word "friend" with white ep on a scrap of black and fussy cut it, popping it up on foam tape. I'm very happy with the final look of this card, and hopefully the recipient will enjoy it as well. It's heading to Cards for Hospitalized Kids.
I'm entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge which is "Tag, you're it!" - make a tag or add a tag to your project.
Thanks for stopping by and it's time to celebrate - it's Friday! YAY!
