I received a generous gift certificate from a dear friend this Christmas, so I ordered some wonderful new Tim Holtz/Ellison goodies from SSS that just arrived yesterday. I got a cool corner die set called Mixed Media and used the hexagon die for the upper corner, while the bottom corner was done with a new TH "bubble" layering stencil. I sponged the white panel with Spun Sugar distressed ink, then used the stencil to sponge on Fired Brick ink. The double heart was done with a Tonic punch, backed with black cardstock, and sponged with more Fired Brick distress ink. The large hearts were cut with SB heart dies and random papers, while the smallest heart was found in my doo-dad box and was already stamped with the sentiment. I found tiny negative hearts and hexagons from previous cuttings and scattered them about just for fun and interest.
I'm sharing this with the SSS Wednesday challenge which is "new something."
I'm also entering this into the Little Red Wagon challenge #375 which is also "something new."
Thanks for stopping by and I hope your Tuesday is a great one!
