Pleated Thank You

Here's a thank you card with a pleated panel making use of some pretty Soho Garden double-sided designer paper by American Crafts. I used a Bermuda Bay card base, along with some hello honey cardstock for the scalloped circle and "tails" which were made with a SU! bow builder punch. The sentiment was done with a long-retired SU! stamp and a tiny punched flower in the center. I finished this off with some yellow & white gingham ribbon and a few yellow gemstones.

I was going to enter this into the Little Red Wagon challenge #377 but the links expired.........sigh :)

Thanks for stopping by today and may the rest of your weekend be a good one!

Carol

  4. So elegant and lovely card with this pleated panel, love this folding technique, it's very interesting! I have to go a try, one day! The ribbon matches se well with the panel! Beautiful choice of papers and colours and the circular sentiment is delicious with the tiny flower in the center!

  5. Look at this fancy pleated fold. It looks so pretty with that splash of floral & colors. Also like the yellow shades against that turquoise background. You always manage to have just the 'right' ribbon to trim - a pretty one, Miss C. TFS & Hugs (I missed the Snippet Playground time limit too, on my first try in a long time! Prob'ly just as well, since my entry would have been a Christmas card, and I expect Parsnip is tired of all those!)
