Christmas Pup

Here's a card I made for the kiddos. I used a Christmas Pup image from Whimsy, along with some snippets of designer paper and cardstock I found in my stash. Those Lil Inker stitched rectangles make the greatest use of those leftover bits of paper and cardstock. I colored the pup with Copics, and now that I've taken a closer look at the finished card I realize that I never added any grounding color to his back leg which appears to be floating in mid-air! Oops!!

Here's another version done a little bit differently with SU! Christmas papers....

For this version I used crumb cake and real red cardstock. The sentiment for both cards was done with a retired SU! set.
I sent these cards off to Cards for Hospitalized Kids already, but hopefully the children won't notice my coloring boo-boo LOL :)

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

Thanks for stopping by today and make it a great Sunday!
Stay grounded! *wink*

Very cute image and really good use of all your papers. I would not have noticed the "ungrounded" leg if you hadn't pointed it out, so no harm there!

TFS!

I love this image and you did such a great job with it. Just so you know when our Molly goes down the little ramps to go outside her back legs are way up in the air and never touch the ramp so this looks totally normal to me. Have a great Sunday.

Surely kiddos won't notice the leg, this puppy is too much cute!! Both the versions look adorable and your design is so festive! Great use of your scraps!
I wish you and your hubby a very Merry Christmas!
