Butterfly Bliss

I made an encouragement card with some Blackberry Bliss cardstock and coordinating dsp from SU!. The oval panel was done with a SB petite scalloped die in Hello Honey cardstock, while the dsp oval was cut with a Gina Marie Designs stitched oval die. The large butterfly was done with MB Vivienne and Darla butterfly dies, while the smaller butterflies were done with a retired butterfly Sizzlet die from SU! The card base was die cut with a Lil Inker stitched rectangle.

I'm sharing this with the Tuesday Morning Sketch challenge #383 which is "anything goes."

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a wonderful Tuesday!

Carol

  13. What a deep rich color this card holds, and it looks just so elegant with the gold butterfly over the color too. The subtle pattern on the DP behind this oval adds richness too, at first thought it was an EF, until reading the post more closely. I like the Bokeh dots on the oval, & of course, the stitched oval and mat. Hope things are going smoothly, and that you're going to have a Happy New Year, feeling much better. TFS &Hugs

  16. This is lovely, Carol. I really like the colours used here. The gold and the purple look stunning together!

Sorry to hear you were so ill and had to have surgeries. I lost track of my fellow bloggers with a cun of bad health since fall, and that coupled with getting my Mum's house reno;d and sold, has kept me out of the loop.

Hope we all have good health in the new year ahead.
