Today I have a couple of CAS holiday cards that went together quickly. I borrowed the sentiment die from a friend (I think it's a Spellbinders die) and cut it with some Bermuda Blue cardstock, punching a matching snowflake with a MS punch. The white snowflake was done with a Lawn Fawn stitched die and both snowflakes were adhered with a small silver brad onto a white embossed background done with a SU! softly fallen ef.
Here's another one done with a darker turquoise color called Island Indigo. The only difference is that I used a different MS snowflake punch.
I'm sharing these cards at Craftyhazelnut's Christmas challenge #302 which is to use turquoise /aqua - a little or a lot.
I'm also sharing it with Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Extra challenge for October which is anything goes.
Thanks for checking in today and I wish you a happy Wednesday!
Carol

Love this softly fallen ef, I just need an EF as this, it's "necessary" :D for Christmas/winter cards!Your card has a great colours combo and an adorable design!
ReplyDeleteBoth pretty cards and I had to toggle between the two to see the difference in the snow flakes. Very subtle. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteLovely CAS cards Carol, the super die cut greeting looks great on the embossed background. I like the layered snowflakes as well.

Such elegance! Love the look of that embossing folder, and the swirly way the letters are done on your sentiment.
