Fright Night Crazy Cat

I have a fun card for you today that makes use of the Tim Holtz Crazy Cats stamp set. The way this cat is looking over his shoulder indicated I needed to put something there for him to focus on. I hand-cut a couple lightning bolts but it didn't quite do the trick, so I added a die cut bird from SNSS and added some white feathers and stickled eyes. Perfect! The bird is trying to steal his fish! The cat has stickled eyes too. The background was made of random snippets done in herringbone fashion and embossed with a plaid ef. I die cut both the image panel and card base with Lil Inker stitched rectangles.

I think I'll share this with the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge which is "anything goes" this week.

Thanks for checking in and have yourself a fantastic day!

  10. I thought your herringbone background was patterned paper! I like the spooky colors and tone of your card. What is spookier? The raven or the cat? Methinks the lightning. That stuff can kill ya!
