Christmas Door & Wreath

I'm still in Christmas card mode and spent some time punching my green snippets into ferns with a MS punch to make this wreath. I adhered each piece on a round ring of cardstock with Glossy Accents. After it dried, I added dots of red liquid pearls and a twine bow. The SU! sentiment was white embossed on black. The card base is pale green and the door panels were popped up on foam tape. After it was finished, I realized the wreath was too large for the door because I couldn't find a place to put the little door knob! LOL I'm using it anyway :)

I'm sharing this over at the Snippets Playground #241.

Have a great Monday and thanks for stopping by!

Carol

  1. What a beautiful wreath! And so much work to glue each snippet in place! I really like the rectangles of cardstock behind to look like a door. That is really CAS but effective! TFS!

  6. Gorgeous wreath atop this nice paneled door! You know, I've tried to make this wreath, and it never turns out so pretty as this one does. And I'm in awe of the tiny berries, each one looks so uniform. I'd have had some big blobs in there! Love this card. TFS & Hugs

  12. Just tell people that it is only the upper half of the door in the picture! This is lovely and you did a great job getting all those branches nicely placed and then berried.
