You Lift Me Up!

The Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge is to create a scene. They're featuring Newton's Nook products, so I used this Newton's Nook image for my card. I colored the sweet dog and sky with Copics, added some die-cut grass to ground him, and then used an EK bricked punch to create the vertical panel. I punched black cardstock, putting a strip of blue behind it, and added a snippet of red & white polka dot dsp to the edge for a little matching color to the tiny red hearts in the image and sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you're having a great Wednesday!

Carol

  6. Don't you just love those Newton's Nook stamps!
Love your cute scene and precious card. I can just see Rambo floating away on a balloon.
Finally have a new computer and still trying to figure out what the heck I'm doing. It's not pretty having to re-learn everything!
Hope all is well with you.

  8. Another darling doggie. Love the side brickwork border, with the red dotty strip. The tiny hearts just add more flavor to this cute card, and you've picked the perfect sentiment to cheer a friend or just say 'hello'. (hmm..don't think I've seen this EK punch around, and must check out Newton's Nook. Never tried their images, but I've seen some cuties around blogland). TFS & Hugs
