I made a simple birthday card using a leftover snippet of dsp from the Making Memories Wedding stack. I used a Memory Box prim poppy die to cut the white flowers, placing them on a coral colored piece of cardstock. I matted both panels with black after cutting them with Lil Inker stitched rectangle dies, and stamped little flower centers on the dsp with matching ink. Finally, I added a white-embossed birthday sentiment on another snippet of black cardstock.
I'm sharing this over at the Snippets Playground #207; as well as the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge which is "die crazy."
Thanks for stopping by and as always, have a fabulous day!

Pretty card. Love the flowers within the flowers. Coral is such a sweet soft color and it is beautiful when paired with the stock black. Have a fun evening.

ReplyDeleteThis is lovely, so elegant and love the colours
ReplyDeleteReally elegant card Carol - and I do so love the colour combination. Love how the narrow borders of black on the layers add such definition - and the white on black sentiment just pulls it all together beautifully! Prim Poppies is always a star die to use as well.
ReplyDeleteSorry I'm late commenting - playing catch up here!
