September Rudolph Day


It's time for the September Rudolph Days Challenge where you have until the end of September to make a Christmas card. Today I'm using my Simon Says Stamp Wishing Trees die, along with Lawn Fawn stitched hillside dies, and a SU! sentiment. I cut the tree die with gumball green cardstock, and cut another one in white, then swapped the green negatives with white and added some Geo Sparkler stickers to the largest tree. For the final touch, I added a tiny red heart negative to the sentiment - which was left over from another die cutting project. 


I figured it would make sense to make another card using the left overs from the first cutting, so here's the same basic card with the colors reversed. I added a simple silver star sticker to the top of the tree for this one.

I'm also going to add my cards to the Snippets Playground #196 as soon as the gates open :)

    Two great cards. I love the ay you used the leftover bits for the second. Very wise!

    2 fab Rudy Day cards, and I like that you used the bits to make the 2nd card. Each one is so pretty, and I'll fess up that #2 is my fav...I think because of the 'lights on the tree'. You are the queen of the paperpiecing/inlay technique! It always looks great, and the tree line & snowhills, great designing. TFS & Hope the birthdays were great. Hugs

    These are really nifty but I think I like the green trees and white outlining just a touch more. I've always admired these dies but they look so fiddly.
