Here's another Halloween card I made with a retired SU! set and lots of Halloween paper snippets. I colored the image with Copics and cut it with a Lil Inkers stitched rectangle die, then matted it with black. I wrapped a little piece of batty ribbon around one corner and cut banners for the background, placing all on an orange card base. I made about a dozen of these and sent them off to Cards for Hospitalized Kids last week.
I'm sharing this one over at Pixie's Snippets Playground #195 since the entire card was done with snippets.
Thanks for spending a few moments of your day with me - may you have the best day ever!

BOO!!!! Oh Carol, this really is fabulous! Super use of snippets and such a fun image - I did giggle at the hedgie shape under the green sheet :) Wait until you see my post tomorrow - no dressing up costumes there though :)

This is so darn cute and I love the colors you colored with. The banner papers worked wonderfully together. The kids at the hospitals will adore them and bring a smile to their faces for sure. Have a fun day.
ReplyDeleteLove all the snippets! This is a great way to get a lot of patterns onto one card. That batty ribbon is too fun. I keep telling myself that today is the day I'm going to play with H'ween stuff but it just hasn't happened. Yesterday's excuse was that the dentist *tortured* me. He even made me cry. I'm crossing him off my H'ween card list.
ReplyDeleteCute card! I like how you created your frame with the snippets!
ReplyDeleteFUN patterned paper and the bat ribbon is perfect! Cute card Carol and that image is just darling. Not too spooky and just plain FUN!
