Things that Fly

The Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge is "things that fly." I was playing around with an Anna Griffin embossing folder, and added some fussy cut snippets of dsp into the embossed sections for a different look. I layered MB Darla and Vivienne die cut butterflies onto a SU! die cut butterfly, and added some smaller butterflies with a Punch-a-Bunch punch. The sentiment is from MFP; the card base is Melon Mambo; and the dsp is Soho Gardens from AC. I added some bashful blue cardstock for the largest butterfly and sentiment mat. The final touch was to add a few pale blue gemstones to the butterflies.

I'm also sharing this at the Wednesday Butterfly challenge #26 which is "P is for Patterned Paper"

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a wonderful day!

  3. What a super idea to have combined the design paper into the embossing folder. It looks great. I love the big bold butterfly too. By adding the smaller butterfly die to the bigger blue one gives much more dimension. Thankyou for fluttering by my #26 challenge. hugs Mrs A.
