Thanksgiving Leaves

The Mod Squad challenge this week is "holiday." Make any type of holiday card. I made an autumn-themed card for Thanksgiving, using a piece of dsp with leaves printed on it, and then stamped and heat-embossed assorted leaf images with Carnelion embossing powder. I matted it with some orange cardstock, adding 2 leaves done with a MS punch, and a tiny leaf underneath the sentiment that was a negative from an EK border punch. The sentiment was done with espresso ink.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great Friday!

Carol

  8. Caught a glimpse of this one as I commented on the later post. Love your idea of overstamping the leaf dp with these gorgeous embossed leaves. It's just stunning - especially with the extra leaves at the bottom of the focal piece. Great card. TFS
