Winter Joy
I was trying to use up some of my left over scraps yesterday and made another herringbone background with strips of paper from the Echo Park Winter Wishes pad. I love the plum and blue colors in this paper pad. I decided to pull out my Unity Winter Joy itty bitty set and make a snowman to put onto this wintry card. Unfortunately I don't have Copics that closely match this paper, but I used what I had in shades of purple and blue, adding some sparkly Stickles to the snow on the ground. (click to enlarge photo) I punched and layered some snowflakes and added mini brads to the centers and called this one done.
I'm entering this card into the Unity Friday Friends with Flair challenge,
as well as the Snippets Playground #134 challenge.
Thanks for stopping by today and make it a great Friday!

These cool guys are such fun. Love that paper pack (have some of it too, it was one of the few blue packs I could find that year!). Your copic colors were great with the papers, and really defined that paper with the snowflakes you added. Terrific card, and just right for a hot afternoon. Hope I can join you in the Playground. TFS & happy wkend
