Please Know That I Care...

My friend Donna posted this notice yesterday asking for help, so I got to work and made a card for Edith and mailed it this morning. I used 2 Memory Box butterfly dies called Vivienne & Darla, along with some SU! cut white stems and Razzleberry flowers from a SSS Bella Bloom die. The embossing was done and a SU! tulip ef (I forget the exact name) and stamped the "Thoughts & Prayers" sentiment with Razzleberry ink. Next I added some tiny clear gemstones from Pizzazz Aplenty to the flowers and butterfly. For the final touch, I covered all the leaves and raised embossed designs on the framework with a Wink of Stella glitter brush. IRL it has a soft shimmery look, but it's hard to capture that with my camera.

I hope this card will bring Edith a smile along with a moment of encouragement when she opens this card, and I wish her strength to continue her brave battle into the future. Please read Donna's blog post and send a card if you can.

I'm sharing this over at the Snippets Playground #132.

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a wonderful day ahead!

Carol
