Blended Bloom Birthday


Here's another birthday card I've made to add to my stash. I used SU!'s blended bloom, and added a big white brad to the center after coloring the flower with Copics. I added some IO holly hocks, a Cheery Lynn flourish, and another die cut stem (borrowed from a dear friend) and placed them all around and beneath this big flower. The text background paper is from SU! I used a piece of torn vanilla to add the SNSS sentiment in the corner, and dabbed the torn edge with a matching Copic marker. I wasn't crazy about this big flower when I first saw it, but I'm really liking it now :)

    This is one beautiful card Carol! I love that big flower and have since I first saw it. You have it colored so pretty, love the extra foliage and flowers you put with it. That newsprint paper that SU has is awesome and looks great on your card. Both items, the flower and paper, are on my wish list. lol Hugs, Brenda

    Another lovely bloom card. So many things I like on this one: the print dp, the gorgeous colored flower, your use of the dies (& I see those embedded leaves too). The torn paper, sponged on the edge. This one is out of the ballpark, Miss Carol. TFS & Hugs

    This is such a pretty card! I love the text background, it allows the flower to just pop! I love Holly Hocks and that is so neat that you added them. Beautifully colored, beautifully done!
