Rudolph Day in May

Here's a switch to the kick-off of summer - Christmas cards! LOL I'm playing along with the May Rudolph Day challenge to create 2 Christmas cards for your stash. I'm using a Hero Arts image that I heat-embossed with silver on navy cardstock. I added lots of mini clear gemstones from Pizzazz Aplenty for some sparkle along with a piece of SU! silver ribbon to match. The background paper is a piece from my stash, and the sentiment is by Northwoods. Here's a close-up of the gem stones....

Here's a 2nd card done in silver on red with a larger white panel that includes a silver embossed sentiment. I think the dsp is by SU!

I made a 3rd one, this time heat embossing gold on red and adding some gold metallic ribbon with a gold-embossed sentiment. I put this one on a solid white background to let the gold shine. The sentiment is also by Northwoods.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you're having a great weekend!

Carol

  12. I love this image and the way you have used the gemstones. It was an interesting choice to try it on red card as well as the more traditional blue, but it has worked well.Kate x
