Flowers and Flourishes

I'm back again with another guest design card for the House Mouse HMFMC#167 challenge which is "flowers and flourishes."

I used a gruffie image I found in my stash and colored it with Copics. I sponged the sky with broken china ink to create some beautiful blue skies. I found this chevron striped paper that seemed to go along with the green card stock I chose, and then made a few tiny flowers with a Quickutz die. The flourishes were made with a Cheery Lynn fanciful flourish and the little butterfly was a gift from a friend. The sentiment is from SU!.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the rest of the DT's creations for some beautiful inspiration! You'll be glad you did ;)

  1. Just darling Carol. Great sky work and coloring.(love those cute pick feet). I can't wait until there are some flowers in my yard to stop and smell. Gotta run this morning, but I'm wishing you a wonderful day.

  2. Very sweet card with the darling image. I like your clouds, too. I bet those flowers smell great. Maybe soon we'll have some to smell. Our weather, though, is really cool and raining. I want to get warm again VERY soon.

  3. So pretty Carol, this card really speaks spring to me and to remind me to keep watching my lilac bush for blooms shouldn't be too much longer and I'll see it blooming. Also great layout and embellishments!
