Using an Old Tag
This tag was made probably 10 or more years ago when I first bought my Cricut machine! I was making scrapbooks then, and I made this for a page about my grandfather, but never used it, so it's been lying in a box of elements just waiting patiently to be used for another project. I found the Cardz4Guyz challenge #10 which is to "tag it" so I finally put this tag to use. It was originally just one embossed feather, so I added 2 die cut feathers and tied them on with some twine. Then I added some punched plain white flowers with red gemstones (nothing too feminine) and a die cut red bird with a black rhinestone for the eye. I did some faux stitching with a white sharpie, and stamped a Casual Friday's sentiment. The tag was made from little snippets of paper, so I'm also entering this over at the Snippets Playground #116.
Thanks for checking in today, and make it a great week ahead!
Carol
