Ice Inspired Card

Today's card was made with a pre-colored free digi from Dustin Pike that really makes a cute card for kids, especially in the cold weather. I matted with a scrap of navy cardstock, added an embossed layer of snowy fun with a Cuttlebug ef, and then tied on a piece of matching gingham ribbon. The snowflake accent is a combination of a felt snowflake, along with a blue snowflake brad.

I'm entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge which is "Ice Inspiration."

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you all a great weekend!

Carol

  5. See now I never would have thought to add that gingham ribbon, Carol, but it is SO the perfect touch for this wonderful card! That image is a riot ~ you can just feel him quivering from the freezing temperature so much that his eyes have crossed!!

It's so nice to finally be able to catch up on my visits and be awed and inspired by all your past posts I've missed. Hopefully, I can stay on track now. Knock wood, I didn't catch Mister's cold and thank God, his is just a cold and not the flu. Enjoy the warm weekend (compared to what it's been)!! Hugs, Darnell

Thanks for the link...I popped over there and got one too.

I think I will make him for the grandkids next year. Thanks for the link...I downloaded the non coloured image and then I can play with the scarf colours to suit a boy or a girl.
