Get Whale Soon!


Here's my card for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge which is "anything goes with twine or string." I'm using a cute Darcie image & sentiment I borrowed from a friend to make this get-well card. I colored the cute whale with Copics and fussy cut it, popping it up on an embossed background done with a Sizzix bubble wrap ef. The "water" was done with a SNSS die, and the twine was recycled from some items I received in the mail.

    Well this one will make someone feel better by just looking at it. Love that you used that embossing folder. The way you did your sentiment piece with the twine is very nice. Enjoy your day.

    This is just so cute, Carol. I love the sentiment with that whale. It's a fun and sweet get well card. Pretty twine you recycled and the embossing folder looks great.

    That EF is wonderful. I am going to look for it as I plan a lot of water themed cards and layouts this year. I have created a kit to work from!

    Get whale soon! I need about a dozen of these cards as everyone at work is dropping like flies. I hope they keep their cooties to themselves. This is such a sweet card, simple and lovely. That is a very fun embossed background!!
