A Wednesday Quadruple Play

Since we had a big snowstorm yesterday, I spent lots of time playing with stamps and making cards for challenges. This one is for the Tuesday Morning Sketch challenge #233. I used a MFP image, stamped it in white ink, then added water color pencil colors with stickles on top of that for some sparkle. The sentiment was computer generated.

This was made for the Shopping our Stash challenge #135 which is winter blues - to use blue as the main color. This isn't a winter scene, but it's all blue! I think the image is from Inky Antics, colored with Copics, and the butterflies were done with a punch-a-bunch and I added little trails with a fine Copic liner. The sentiment is a printed digi from my collection.

This was made for the Cards in Envy "through the window" challenge which was to make a window card. I used the Lawn Fawn Valentine stamp set for this one. It was hard to photograph the actual window, but I reversed the striped dsp on the inside to give it some definite contrast. I die cut the window with SB circle dies and stamped the little bunny right onto the dsp, coloring with with Copics and a white gel pen for the fluffy tail.

This card is for the Operation Write Home midweek throwdown to make a pastel-colored card. This was made some time ago and never posted, but it works for this challenge, so I'm going to enter it now. The background was embossed with Baroque Motifs in white, then sponged with pale colors of blue, pink and yellow. The panel on the left is actually paper tape that I've had forever. The daisies were done with a die from SSS, and the sentiment is from SU!

I have to go out and shovel snow for a while, so if I've missed any details you need for any of these cards, please email me and I'll get back to you ASAP!

Thanks for stopping by and have yourself a fantastic day!

Carol

  17. So many great cards today! I came by following your dog from SOS. I'm really liking what everyone did with their blues. He's quite the cutie. I like your happy birthday daisies as well. The little Lawn Fawn bunny made me go "Awwwww!" Windows and apertures are hot stuff right now. I like how you changed directions of the stripes to really show off that it is a different layer. I'm really impressed with your pastel card. I'm not that fond of pastel but this card ROCKED. So soft and pretty. Maybe I can like pastels after all.
