Dynamic Duos and Snippets

Here's a card I'm entering into the Dynamic Duos DD#82 to use the colors of rich pink and green. I used all leftover papers and scraps for this one, stamping & embossing the Hero Arts floral images in black onto matching dsp and fussy cutting them. The stems were done with a Sizzlet from SU! and layered on another snippet of dsp from my scrap bin. The sentiment was done with an Inkadinkado stamper on SU! jewel tags & I adhered them under the pink grosgrain ribbon with some black pearls on top.

This one is also heading over to the Snippets Playground #102.

Thanks for stopping by and have yourself a great day!

Carol

  6. Oh this does look so springlike. With all the Snow & white up in your world, bet this brightened up your day! Love the colors, always like the red & white gingham, and loved your idea to stamp the flowers from that dsp too. Very cheerful & sunny. TFS & stay warm & cozy. And off the ice. We have a sunshine morning, I'm thankful to say. Hugs

  16. I really like the flowers stamped on the gingham. It really works. I also like the layout of the card. Usually cards divided down the middle bother my sensibilities (or lack of sense as the case usually is) but the design is such that you don't notice that. Neat card!
