Saying Thank-You

I have a very large pile of stamped/printed images I've accumulated through the years, and I've been gradually sorting and using them. I found this pre-colored image and decided to use it to make a thank-you card for the Simon Says Stamp challenge to make a Thanksgiving or thank-you card. I used the Tuesday Morning sketch 224 which was perfect for this image. The band on the coffee cup was plain, so I stamped my sentiment there. I used scraps of yellow & green dsp from my desk that were left over from making a few other cards recently along with SU! boho blossom and mini punch pack punches for the flowers. I added mini brads and a few yellow gemstones for the final touch.

I'm also entering this card over at the Snippets Playground #98.

Thank YOU for stopping by - I wish you lots of smiles and a great day!

Carol

  1. I have one of those boxes too, Carol. I call it my UFO (UnFinished Objects) box. It comes in handy sometimes but gets way too full most of the time. This sweet little image is adorable and he looks happy to be out of the box!

  3. Cute image and a great place for your sentiment. I have a drawer of those unused items, too. But, mine are mostly die cuts. Then, I forget to use them. Ugh!

Thanks for sending smiles. I'm smiling today because there are no guys working in my house. Yesterday, we had a new French door installed and it was freezing cold...for almost three hours cold air was coming in. They came the coldest day of the year, so far. Brrrrrrrrr
