Best Friend


I absolutely love the colors in this SU! print poetry patterned paper, so I used some precious leftover snippets to put this card together. I embossed the vertical panel with a SU! honeycomb ef, and hand-cut all the little hexes that are glued into the embossed areas. The colors are midnight muse, gumball green and daffodil delight - along with some very vanilla. The sentiment is from the SU! label love stamp set and cut with the artisan label punch. I hand-trimmed the edges of the punched element and layered it with a green mat, then put a banner behind it. The border punch is from SU, and the butterfly is a combination of 2 MB butterfly dies - the Vivienne, and Darla.

    Gorgeous butterfly and a gorgeous card! I DO love that paper you used - such a pretty color combo! All the little hexes are just perfect.

    This is my favorite butterfly die set you and always pick just the right papers to make it with. Your hexes are fabulous (you are a very patient women to cut these all out). This whole card is just beautiful. Thanks for sharing your terrific talent with all of us.
