I made this origami shirt probably 2 years ago, stuck it in a box and never quite knew what to do with it until recently. It's made from a small scrap of camouflage dsp, and one day while playing with my honeycomb embossing folder, I got the idea to make this card and use some coordinating colors for the hexes. The origami tie was also made from a scrap of dsp and I added a few mini star brads to anchor everything to the kraft panel. The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn, and after it was finished I thought what a great "any hero" card this would make for OWH. As luck would have it, today's OWH stars and stamps midweek throwdown is to make an any hero card with a hand-written message inside. Bingo! I'll enter this card into that challenge as well as Pixies Crafty Snippets Playground #82, since I used my scraps to put this card together.
And thank YOU for taking time to stop by! I wish you a wonderful Wednesday!
Carol

ReplyDeleteOkay, this? This needs to be on the cover of a stamping magazine, Carol! I don't know anything about what magazines are out there except for Paper Crafts (I think that's the name of Moxie Fab mag?) or how you go about entering, but I hope you do and that you take the time to enter this! I have to go find the top of my head now.
ReplyDeleteCarol, This is FABULOUS! Every detail is perfect! Can't even begin to think of how you created that little shirt. Any chance of doing a tutorial on it?
