Things with Wings

Here's my card for the OWH Stars & Stamps midweek throwdown challenge which is "things with wings." I made this card from scraps in my stash and embossed the panels with a SU! Vine Street embossing folder. The butterflies were done with a Punch-a-Bunch and I added some chocolate pearls and a pink gemstone. Sentiment by Hero Arts done in early espresso ink. Quick, simple, and I'm really pleased with how this one turned out!

Since I used leftover snippets, I'm also entering this into the Snippets Playground 76.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Carol

  2. I can see why these darling butterflies were attracted to this card, it was the perfect place to land with these beautiful colors and the embossing. The chocolate brown backdrop really makes everything pop and the kraft is the ideal color for the card base here. I think you are getting the rain we are scheduled to get tonight. It is a nor-easter. Yikes.
