I made this card by using a remnant scrap from a die cut. The yellow panel is the negative portion of a square that was die cut for another project. I sponged the edges with Daffodil ink and cut strips of calypso coral to line the embossed edges. Since I'm not very good with making a mitered edge, I made photo "corners" to cover them up. The image is by SNSS and was colored with Copics and enhanced with some white gel pen accents. The sentiment was done with a MFT stamp set, and the beachy border was done with an EK punch.
I'm entering this into Pixie's Snippets Playground #77 since I used some leftover scraps, and I'm also entering this into the Stars and Stamps Tuesday tutorial to create a window card. Mine is a bit different from the tutorial that's posted, but it's a window card so I think it works :)
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you all find your piece of paradise in this world today too!!
Carol
