CAS Sketch & a Round of Applause

Here's a card for the CAS-ual Fridays CFC85 - which is "a round of applause" for a celebration or occasion with at least one circle. I've also used the CAS(E) this sketch #10 by Lisa Arana. I saw a card similar to this on Pinterest and wanted to try the ribbon weaving for myself, so I used some narrow ribbons from my stash. The sentiment and circle are from the CAS-ual Friday's stamp set "woot woot." The inside will have a birthday sentiment.

Back to the laundry - I hope you're having a great day :)

Carol

  6. Very cool card, Dude!! When I first saw it, I remembered making ribbon necklaces out of chewing gum wrappers. Did you ever do that?

(Di can send you HTML code language for your archives list, I bet if you comment to her on her Pixie's site that you'd like her to email you re a blog question. I hope it helps!)

  7. Your weaved ribbon reminds me of "gimp". I'm sure you must remember that. The three colors of ribbon are beautiful together. Fantastic CAS card.

First of all - a super card! Love the plaiting, such a clever idea.

Second, I hopped here from Darnell's blog and have also seen her comment here about the drop down box for those pesky labels. If you wanna discuss just email me here: di_wray@hotmail.com and we can see about sorting it out for you.
