I played along with the Unity Friends with Flair challenge for the first time today, using one of their adorable itty bitty stamps called "winter joy." I cut the image with a SB labels die & colored it with Copics, adding some glistening snow writer to his coat, pockets and fur-trimmed hat, then added stickles to the snow he's sitting on. The dsp is from the Echo Park Very Merry Christmas paper pad, and the horizontal border was done with the MS doily punch. The sentiment panel was hand-cut and I used some ribbon from my stash along with a CB snowflake ef and a snowflake brad - just for fun :)
Thanks for spending a few minutes of your day with me here - I hope I've inspired you in some small way with my card:)

ReplyDeleteWhat a joyful card, Carol. Love your papers and I never thought of using that embossing folder with red card stock, but boy it looks striking in the red. That little guy just puts a nice smile on my face even though I'm not ready for snow. I know I don't have a say in the matter, but I'm hoping we can wait a while before that happens, however, they tell me it "could" happen next weekend. I'll just think of your cute little snowman and I won't be so upset when it does start to snow.
