No Card Today

I don't have a card to share yet - I've been a little busy in the kitchen :) I haven't canned anything for years, but I'm having fun getting re-acquainted with the process, in spite of all the work and time it takes! These tomatoes are going to taste good in some home made soup or chili this coming winter :)

Hopefully I'll have time to get in the craft room soon!

    Oh I think I'll have to make a trip to your house sometime this winter to help you eat of some of those tomatoes. LOL

    OMG!!! I can't believe you've been keeping this secret from me!!! These are great Carol and I guarantee all the time and effort will be worth it this winter! Did I somehow inspire you with all my canning! LOL!!

    They do look good in the photos! I remember my canning days...(that was a long time ago) I even canned tomatoes...but sadly I can't eat them anymore. Tomato soup used to be my favorite!

    Oh my goodness, how yummy. Canned tomatoes from the kitchen change the taste of soup for the better. I haven't had any in years but my Mom used to can them and they were great!!!!

    That's gonna taste so good in the middle of winter....... I had a lot of trouble getting a start on card kits. I finally just went to Sandy's blog and got some good ideas from that! And yours - I ended up doing something withe the card from 7/24.

    Ohhh! YUMMY!! 8-) Now you've got me thinking Chili, Homemade Soup and Stews too! lol Wish it was Fall and Winter already! LOL Hmm, well actually if it were, I'd be really behind on my Holiday cards, lol So I guess it's good that it's not Fall or Winter just yet, lol 8-)
