House Mouse Challenge #HMFMC117 - Sweet

The challenge over at the HMFMC117 this week is to create something "sweet." Lilacs have the sweetest aroma, so I made a sweet birthday wishes card using this "aromatherapy" HM image. It was colored with Copics, and matted with black and lavender cardstock, which was embossed with a SU! square lattice ef. I printed the sentiment on some lime green cardstock, and wove some sheer ribbon through it after cutting with a SB ribbon tag. I used the bow-easy and some lavender bling for the center of the bow.

    Love HM and this is a great card! Love your interpretation of sweet, no reason that it can't be a scent. I miss lilac's but they don't do well down here.

    Carol, I love this image and you did such a wonderful coloring job with it. That sheer ribbon is so nice especially with your little gem in the center of the bow. The lime green sentiment paper fits right in also. Of course the embossing is a favorite. This one will make someone's birthday a lot sweeter. Have a great day.

    Carol, What a pretty card, and a great take on the challenge. You made me go take a look out my back window to see if my Lilac bush is in full bloom, and it is!!! So beautiful, but it doesn't last long enough. So I better enjoy while I can.
