I have a couple more thank-you cards to share with you today. First up is one that uses some dsp from the Bella Blvd Christmas Wishes pack. I paired it with some black and white card stock, and wove some dark gold ribbon through the Sweet 'n Sassy lacy border die cut. I added a few tiny gemstones to the sides, and some Marvy gold paint pen edging around the Spellbinders labels eighteen dies. The sentiment is from Verve and was done with Versafine Onyx Black ink.
This card was made with papers from the Red/Black Line Extension II from Jenni Bowlin. I paired it with some real red card stock, and Spellbinders labels eighteen, and labels four dies. I edged both dies with black and red markers before cutting, and added a SU! sentiment along with some tiny black Kaiser pearls. The scalloped borders were done with a SU! punch.
The designer papers used on both of these cards were from a prize package I was very fortunate to win by leaving a comment on the Moxie Fab blog back on World Card Making Day!
Winter is here in PA today and it's a balmy 25 degrees at the moment! Brrrr!! Wishing you warm sunshine and a great day! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Carol
Ooh, look how pretty! When I do a card without an image, just a sentiment, they never look as pretty. Love how you used the die with the ribbon through it. I think that really just draws your eye! Both are beautiful cards.
ReplyDeleteBoth are so pretty Carol. You're just making me want to go out and buy some more nesties now! Love how you framed these.

Hi Carol, both of these cards are a wonderful sight to be seen. The first card has the most gorgeous ribbon and I love how you placed your brads. The gold outlining on the dies give them such a rich look. This one is a definite winner. Your second card is also a winner with the red and black. The outlining of the dies really stands out nicely. The stamp looks so nice with the two colors. Your paper choices are just spot on. Have a good (cold) night. Our "feel like" temp is 18 degrees today and it is not going to improve tomorrow either. Figures I have to go to work tomorrow. I'd rather sit in a nice warm house and not have to venture out at all, but what is one to do? More work, more craft money.
ReplyDeleteBoth are wonderful cards, Carol. Love the rich warm colors on the first and the sweet florals on the second.
ReplyDeleteWe never have enough thank you cards, do we, Carol? These are lovely! It is a cold one and I am quickly talking myself out of going to work today. I simply froze yesterday with the donor door open constantly.
ReplyDeleteSuper pretty thank you cards. I love how you wove that pretty ribbon through the border. Lovely dp...you are winning things right and left.
ReplyDeleteCold here, too. Down to 22 degrees last night but up to 49 today so I guess it could be worse.
Oooooowwwww! THESE are stunning! What elegant THANK YOUS you give! Keep WARM! xoxo!
