Here in PA and surrounding states, we have convenience stores/gas stations called WAWA, and their take-out coffee cups are colored much like this. Once I had the image colored, I just couldn't seem to make any Christmas dp work with it, so I pulled out some BoBunny papers from the Crazy Love collection, and things just fell into place. Those are tiny pink Geo Sparkler stickers on the cup, and I punched some tiny hearts using the SU owl punch for the band around the cup. The ribbon is from my stash and has tiny hearts which worked perfectly with this card!
I hope you'll grab those digi images and come play along with us during our "tea party." You're not required to use a SNSS image, but we love seeing them when you do! When uploading to the galleries, please tag your creations with SNSDC32.
Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic Friday!

Carol, LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It's early morning here and quite chilly so just looking at this cup or coffee is warming. (and I don't even drink coffee) Your shading and shadowing is just perfect. It looks like the cup is standing off the paper. Great idea using the owl hearts. I'll have to keep that in mind. The ribbon goes so well with everything and those Geo stickers are a great final touch. Another great success my friend.

Beautiful colors and coloring, and I love the punched hearts on the cup! Funny, I recently colored up an image thinking I'd make it into a birthday card....and I totally CANNOT get it to work. The image just looks too valentine's-y....so that's what it'll probably end up being...a valentine's day card. :) Have a great day, gf!
ReplyDeleteOh Carol, your coloring is just amazing on this one! I love how you let it follow it's own design! Just yummy!
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic...When I saw it I was like "wow". Look at all the details on this baby, who wouldn't want to drink what ever is yummy in this cup.
ReplyDeleteTotal CUTENESS, love that cup!!
ReplyDeleteI really love this card so much that I was inspired to make a card with the same image and borrow your color scheme and the hearts idea on the belly band. Your cards are always soooo cute! I forgot to try the shading you did around your image. Next time I need to try that.
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet card, Carol. You're right, that was the perfect paper and I love when things come together like that. Give me tea any day over that ugh coffee. Ha
